Jikoji remains closed due to the pandemic, but we’ll be going online for our October 25, Science & Buddhism discussion on the climate crisis and if Buddhism can help us find a way.

The climate crisis has been studied by scientists for decades. With massive global heating from human activity, especially in the last 100 years, the heat absorbed by the earth’s ocean and atmosphere render them huge heat sinks that contribute to more severe, higher energy storms and weather events. What can we do to meet this crisis? Can Buddhism help us find a way? Please join us for discussion of the science and life style changes before us

Zoom meeting (starts Zoom)

Here are some writings, websites, and other resources we've been exploring o the subject.
